Quote Management Guide
Priority Flags
- 📞 Phone (Red): Customer requested a callback - call them ASAP
- 📞 Phone (Green): Callback has been completed
- 🚚 Freight (Blue): Customer needs shipping quote included in pricing
- ⚠️ PO Needed (Orange): Quote approved over 5 days ago but no PO received yet
- ⚠️ Close Details (Yellow): Quote has been closed - click to view why it was closed
Closing Quotes
- Click the red ✕ button next to any Pending Review or Approved quote to close it
- Select a category: Expired (quote validity passed) or Lost/Missed (customer chose another option)
- For Lost/Missed quotes, specify the reason (Price, Location, Timing, etc.) and optionally the competitor
- Closed quotes show a ⚠️ Close Details badge - click it to review closure information
Workflow
- Click "Pending Review" quotes to access the pricing approval screen
- Click other status quotes to view full details
- Use filters to find specific quotes by status, date, or company
- The Tier column shows the customer's price tier (affects markup)
