Quote Management Guide

Priority Flags

  • 📞 Phone (Red): Customer requested a callback - call them ASAP
  • 📞 Phone (Green): Callback has been completed
  • 🚚 Freight (Blue): Customer needs shipping quote included in pricing
  • ⚠️ PO Needed (Orange): Quote approved over 5 days ago but no PO received yet
  • ⚠️ Close Details (Yellow): Quote has been closed - click to view why it was closed

Closing Quotes

  • Click the red ✕ button next to any Pending Review or Approved quote to close it
  • Select a category: Expired (quote validity passed) or Lost/Missed (customer chose another option)
  • For Lost/Missed quotes, specify the reason (Price, Location, Timing, etc.) and optionally the competitor
  • Closed quotes show a ⚠️ Close Details badge - click it to review closure information

Workflow

  • Click "Pending Review" quotes to access the pricing approval screen
  • Click other status quotes to view full details
  • Use filters to find specific quotes by status, date, or company
  • The Tier column shows the customer's price tier (affects markup)
